Open Concept Stable for a Paddock Paradise JSHR | SP Brazil

Execution date:

March 20, 2025

Project type:

Local:

Campinas, SP, Brazil

Project scope:

A stable designed for the Paddock Paradise Project, which consists of three trails for the JS Horse Resort horses. We designed a large open concept stable divided and integrated into the two main circuits, reducing construction costs, for rest, shelter from the sun and rain, grains troughs, water troughs. We also included a shower and a separate handling area.

Project description:

The stable is made of masonry, with cladding that facilitates daily maintenance and increases the property's value. The roof is thermoacoustic to minimize rain noise and reduce the sun's intense heat, which is intense in this region. The roof features a translucent skylight with a UV filter for sunlight and vents for hot air to vent, facilitating cross-ventilation, improving the climate and keeping the shelter cool. We also designed a rainwater collection system for paddock irrigation. The interlocking concrete floor and walls are covered with special rubber, which facilitates cleaning and makes the space more comfortable for the horses.
